Franchising or Licensing Model
In a franchising model, the franchisee uses KIDSCODE’s business model and brand name to operate what is effectively an independent branch of the company. The franchisor, KIDSCODE maintains a considerable degree of control over the business operations and processes used by the franchisee, but also assists with managing, branding and providing marketing support to the franchisee.
Under a licensing model, KIDSCODE licenses the use of its intellectual property (IP) – brand, design and/or business programmes – to other parties (the licensees). These licenses are usually non-exclusive, which means they can be offered to multiple competing parties serving the same market.
