This hexapod robot kit is a creative robot platform that assembled with EZ-bits. Six is a very customizable Wi-Fi enabled robot with 6 legs and 12 degrees of freedom. The joints are powered by 12 heavy duty servo motors, allowing unique, dynamic movement. The removable EZ-bit joints and top mounted camera enhance Six’s ability to interact with the world. EZ-robot is easily program for new movements and interactions with the included EZ-builder software. Like all Revolution robots, Six is a great platform to customize with additional EZ-bits using Clip & Play technology. There are 12 female EZ-clips surrounding the circular body, and 1 female EZ-clip on top of the dome. Simplicity inspires creativity!

During the course, kids will learn on how to assemble the parts Six with just Clip’n’Play as well as some key techniques to command and program the robots to perform various of tracking, for example, colour tracking, object tracking and etcetera. Kids will be exposed to a problem and requested to propose a better way to get the robots to function properly along the course. Logical thinking is required for kids to write the script or block programming for control of their robot.
