Meet Roli the Moon Rover

$599.00

Kids will embark on an enriching learning journey to assemble and program their robots to perform exciting task, like dancing, singing and etcetera. Personalizing their robot with new behaviours will teach them how robots walk, see, hear and interact with surroundings to solve problems using a combination of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Meet Roli the Moon Rover

Theme: RACE THROUGH A MAZE!

Duration: 10 lessons (1.5 hours per lesson)

The fast food company, McDonald’s, is going to start using robots to collect orders. These ideas create controversy. If robots have these programs in them and are available for public sale, will the human race become unnecessary and will the robots control us?

In order to prevent being controlled by robot, kids nowadays need to strive to learn and manage the robots. Even if you do not think robots should be a part of our life, just think about how much better your life will be if we had them, for example, Roli Rover. Roli is designed to travel long distances and through difficult territory. Compared to wheels, treads allow travel across a wide variety of surfaces without getting stuck.

During the course, kids will learn how to assemble the parts Roli with just Clip’n’Play as well as some key techniques to command and program the robots to perform various of interesting actions, for instance, object detection, speech recognition, line following, and etcetera. Kids will be exposed to a problem and requested to propose a better way to get the robots to function properly along the course. Logical thinking is required for kids to write the script or block programming for control of their robot.
