micro: bit == Smart Home Project
Theme: INTERACTION OF SENSOR WITH AUTOFAN
Duration: 10 lessons (1.5 hours per lesson)
The Micro:Bit was designed to encourage kids to get actively involved in writing software for computers and building new things, rather than being consumers of media. It also aims to inspire young people to get creative with digital and develop core skills in science, technology and engineering.
Smart home technology, also known as home automation, provides homeowners security, comfort, convenience and energy efficiency by allowing them to control smart devices.
During the course, kids will know more about micro:bit as well as learn how to develop creativity the micro:bit device with sensors and indicators in the context of Smart House Project.
Learning Outcomes:
- Learn how to create a real-life project using the micro: bit controller
- Learn to integrate their programming together with the kit to perform many exciting tasks, such as creating a working temperature detector attached to a mini-fan.
